I have been doing a lot of posts about femininity and girly girl style.
I wanted to do a post covering all the essentials you need if you’re a girly girl or simply wanting to add more feminine touches to your style.
Pink Silk Robe
The first essential you need is a pink silk robe to float around the house in or wear in the mornings whilst you get ready, to feel like a princess.
Nothing makes me feel like a Victoria’s Secret angel more than wearing a pink robe whilst I get ready!
Pretty Hair Accessories
Having a collection of hair accessories, makes styling your hair everyday so much easier.
Just a simple bow in your hair can make you feel so feminine and pretty. A pearl headband adds an expensive touch to any outfit and if there’s anything Blair Waldorf teaches us is that if you want to feel like a queen a headband can do that.
Look for diamante hair slides, headbands, scrunchies, and bows.
Ribbons
If I could I would have ribbons everywhere in my room. Not only can you tie a ribbon in your hair, you can tie them on basically anything like a lamp and it makes such a difference.
Just adds a simple girly touch to your room furniture.
Pink Handbag
A pink handbag is something every girl needs, it doesn’t have to be a bright pink, a pale pink handbag is the best option as it isn’t too bright and just adds a subtle colour to a plain outfit you could be wearing.
Goes with just about anything, particularly with a matching pink dress or a white dress or skirt. Would even go well with jeans and a t-shirt.
Pink dress
A pink dress is essential to feel like the princess you are!
There are many options to choose from, it’s all up to what you feel most comfortable in.
You could go all out with a puffy tulle dress, or keep it simple with a form-fitting pink dress that looks classy and elegant.

Floral dress
A floral dress is a perfect essential for spring/summer.
Can be styled with a pair of ballet flats and a nice handbag for a sunny day in summer.
Pink silk eye mask
An eye mask is life changing, especially a silk one.
When it comes to eye masks, silk is the best for your skin, it’s much more gentle and keeps moisture locked in your skin.
Definitely recommend a silk pillowcase also, is another life changer and as it’s smooth and soft, helps minimise static on your hair. Basically, silk is just the best and your skin and hair will thank you for it.
I love sleeping with an eye mask on, it always feels like i’m in the deepest sleep every time I wear it and helps me to go to sleep quicker.
Nice pair of pyjamas
A nice pair of silk pjs are so luxurious and feel so nice to wear.
In particular, a pink pair makes me so happy and I love sleeping in silk.
Plenty of pyjama options out there for you to choose from.
If you want to feel like a princess when going to bed a pink silk nightgown is the best option.
A matching pair of pyjamas helps you to feel so put together when going to bed.
I love a nice long vintage nightgown to feel like a Jane Austen character when I wake up.
All depends on your preference really, but comfort is key for sleep.
