Welcome To The Bookish Fashionista!

vogue, heels, books and pearls

Hi readers!

My name is Lillie and this is the first blog post I am writing, it feels very surreal I have thought about this for so long and now it’s finally happening! I thought for my very first post it would be nice for any of you reading this to get to know the person behind the bookish fashionista.

Firstly, I have a love of fashion, literature, and personal style.

My favourite colour is pink and I adore elegant and feminine fashions!

For the past two years I have been able to discover my personal style it has always been a part of me but it took me a while to discover it.

I have learnt so many interesting things since since taking online fashion courses ( I highly recommend to anyone who is interested in fashion!)

I would love for my blog to be a safe place or escapism for anyone who feels or has ever felt like they don’t fit in and I hope my posts will help you to be able to express yourself without fear of judgement.

I’m looking forward to sharing with you all of the things that I love, styling tips, book recommendations, and obsessing over outfits from the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.

It’s also my wish that you never feel scared to do the thing, whatever that thing is that you’ve been thinking about doing, no matter how scary just do it, if it feels right just go for it! It could be the best thing you’ve ever decided to do!

This blog is a safe space for everyone, particularly people who love to escape the modern world through classic literature, express themselves through the clothes they wear and spend their days daydreaming about strolling through the streets of Paris in a lovely, pink dress and a fabulous pair of heels! If that sounds like you, we are going to get along very well and I can’t wait to get to know any of you here!

I’m sure the one thing that we all have in common is a passion for fashion and a love of books! If there is one thing I would want you to take away from my blog it’s to always have confidence in yourself even though sometimes it can feel difficult to!

Please feel free any of you to reach out to me either by email or social media if you have any questions, feedback ( whether good or bad) or you simply need someone to talk to then please do, I hope we can be there for each other.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog and you feel safe here!

with love,

Lillie xo
